How to customize module titles on your homepage?

Learn how to rename module titles like "My News" or "Events" to align with your company's language and tone.

This article will guide you through the process of customizing module titles on your homepage. Previously, module titles were set by default (e.g., "My News," "My Stories," "Events"...), but with this new feature, admins can adjust module titles directly within the homepage builder. If your intranet supports multiple languages, you can also add translations to enhance accessibility and user experience for your global employees.

Changing Module Titles

Admins can change module titles using the homepage builder. Follow these steps to update module titles:

  1. Access the Homepage Builder
    • Navigate to the Homepage tab in the Company settings of your intranet.

  2. Select the Module to Customize
    • From the modules, select the one you want to rename. 
    • Click on the Settings icon located on the right of each module.

NOTE: You can rename modules My News, My Stories, Events, Communities and Activities.

 

3. Update the title
  • In the title field, enter your desired module name.

  • If your intranet supports multiple languages, you can also add translations for each title to provide a more inclusive user experience.

Tip: Choose a name that reflects the module's purpose to make navigation easier for users.

 

4. Save Changes

  • After customizing the title, click Save to apply the changes. You’ll see the module Title already changed in the Builder interface.

  • In order to save the changes globally you have to save it in the top right corner.

  • Keep in mind that it can take a few minutes for the changes to appear on the homepage.
